Magnobond 6296 is a single component thick paste epoxy adhesive designed for bonding applications requiring high temperature service. Magnobond 6296 cures at temperatures of 250°F and above, yet is a very reactive product, care must be taken to avoid exotherm when bond line thickness exceeds 60 mils. In thick sections, use 250°F cure. It is often convenient to warm it to 120-130°F for application due to being very viscous at room temperature. Also available in a non-metallic version.
